The Music Stand

The redesign of the Music Stand catalog was to change the perception of a catalog geared toward school teachers to those who enjoy the arts and entertainment. The catalog carried a diverse range of products from a personalized drama T-shirt to $200 music stands. Changing the 80’s style catalog to a more contemporary catalog with its layout and color palette made the products more appealing and fresher. The layout also made shopping the Music Stand easier and allowed for certain products to be highlighted.

A year earlier the catalog generated an RPM of between $800-$900/1000. The new Music Stand generated an RPM of about $2,300/1,000 and sense its redesign annual sales have nearly tripled.
